Hello from Philadelphia, USA.
That day, like an usual in my life, went on with a bunch of unplanned moment of problems, decision and fun. Some girls and I, after arriving at Washington Airport, decided to rent a car and drive the 3 hours that separated us from philadelphia. One of them, I am gonna call her Japan-nugget, wasn’t someone I knew well. She was japanese and barely spoke english so I dont know if it was because we had mis-communication or she was just simply minded but god i laughed. We setted up the gps and Japan-nugget was driving since she was the only one with a US driver licence. Trying to find the highway, I smartly indicated her the way via the road sign, and it went on like this: “take right” and she was like “what?”, so i kept pointing my finger into the direction, “right, take there” and she kept going “what?” So I started to get crazy yelling “take a turn right here damn it” but she didnt listen, making me understand she only follow her damn japanese gps… So obviously, we got lost. Her gps took us into the country roads and it took us 5 freaking hours before arriving to Philadelphia. It was then 2pm so we first decided to grab a cheesesteack. It was a very foggy days but that didnt stop us, or at list me, to walk around and explore. I found my way to the Liberty Bell and Love sign, as well as some cute town house, until it was 5pm and Japan-nugget started to complain that she was tired, bored to walk, wanted to go home…. I felt like I was exploring a new city with a wining 10 year old. We though decided to leave and drive back to DC. I told Japan-nugget to listen to me this time, because We weren’t up to drive another 5 hours when it is suppose to only take 3 by highway. She did, and we arrived at Ronald reagan airport around 11. But that didnt finished there and it took us about 20min to find the drove off rental car at the airport. Why? Because Japan-nugget can’t read signs at night and made a point all day to ignore our directions, or everything we had to say for that matter. So let me tell you that the next time Ill be on a flight with Japan-nugget, I’ll make a point to not go on a trip with her. Im far away from racist and I do like japanese (one of my best friends is japanese) but her… She was just unbelieable and what… A trip!
